Laurie works with CharlieDog’s clients to author insightful and creative takes on their vision, purpose, and stories. Her multifaceted career brings unique perspectives to the agency, and enhances its strategic, integrated approach.
Laurie’s pedigree before CharlieDog:
Laurie was Founder and Executive Creative Director at her own integrated agency for over 20 years. She’s won dozens of awards for her creativity, and has worked with both B2C and B2B organizations – from start-ups and non-profits to large global conglomerates. Laurie’s clients have included General Electric, Endo International, CJ Worldwide, The Chicago Transit Authority, FTI Consulting, PNC Bank, Prevent Child Abuse America, the American Heart Association, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, and many more.
Laurie served as Interim CMO for a global enterprise software firm, and as Marketing Committee Chair for Lumity, a leading Chicago-based nonprofit. Additionally, she developed a patent for a promotional concept that resulted in agreements with high-profile organizations including PepsiCo, The Coca-Cola Company, Mars, MillerCoors, and others.
Laurie earned a BFA in Visual Communication from Northern Illinois University, and is a lifelong Chicagoan who enjoys the recreational aspects of living on the lakefront, and actively participates in the huge variety of cultural, entertainment, sports-viewing, and culinary delights that the city has to offer. She is a proud mother of three adult children.
