In 2000, Lynn Herring drew on her many successful years of experience at New York’s top ad agencies to form CharlieDog Advertising. She left the NYC agency world to work directly with clients without the layers and big price tags of the larger ad agencies.
The result: Excellent creative work and long-term client relationships. From start-ups and non-profits to corporate giants they’ve helped clients like illy caffè, Kraft Foods, MetLife, Focus Financial Partners and USCJ launch brand identities, websites, including e-commerce sites, subscription programs, consumer catalogs and cross-channel advertising campaigns both digital and traditional.
Lynn’s pedigree before CharlieDog:
As a Creative Consultant, Lynn developed TV and direct marketing campaigns for Compaq and Ameritech at Ammirati, Puris & Lintas, and Chase and MetLife at FCB/NY. A Vice President/Creative Supervisor at Ogilvy One, Lynn spent 12 years winning practically every art direction and design award and working on practically every account, from American Express, AT&T, IBM and NYNEX to Dow Brands. ADP, Kimberly Clark and Lufthansa.
Lynn graduated with honors from The School of Visual Arts in NYC and recently earned her MFA in Sculpture and Printmaking from the State University of New York in New Paltz, NY, again graduating with honors. Throughout her career, in advertising and art, Lynn has garnered numerous awards for her outstanding work.
In her personal life, Lynn is mother to two award-winning Airedales (winning awards runs in the family). In her rare spare time, you’ll find Lynn showing her art at galleries here and abroad, hitting the roads on her brilliant red Indian motorcycle or traveling to out-of-the-way places.
